Celtic Christmas

St. Michael's Anglican Church, 1505 5th avenue, Prince George

Celebrate the season with a joyful mix of traditional tunes and orchestral sparkle! The PG Symphony Youth Orchestra, joined by the Old Time Fiddlers and the PG Conservatory of Music Harp Ensemble, present Celtic Christmas—an evening of festive favourites, toe-tapping jigs, and beautiful carols. Tickets are by donation to support the PGSYO program - suggested donation is $25 for adults and $10 for children/youth.

PG Cantata Singers Medieval Merriment

Knox Performance Centre, Prince George

Royal Court Seating – $75 per person Experience the evening as nobility with Royal Court Seating, featuring long, banquet-style tables and a full medieval feast professionally catered by Chef Robert Bubloz of “My Swiss Chef”.

The Royal Court Feast includes: Appetizer: A selection of cheeses and snack items to begin the evening Main Course: Roasted chicken drumsticks & wings, pork spareribs, stuffed potatoes, and corn on the cob- served during intermission Dessert: Swiss Wine Cream tartlets and Butter tarts

Vegetarian Option: A vegetarian Royal Court option is available! Vegetarian guests will enjoy the same menu as other Royal Court attendees, with the above-listed meat items replaced by a Roasted Root Vegetable & Asparagus Roulade (wrapped in seaweed). To ensure the correct meal is prepared, please select the "No Meat" on your ticket when checking out - We won’t be able to accommodate last-minute meal changes on the night of the concert. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate/guarantee other specific dietary needs (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, food allergies) for this event.

Please Note: All dishes will be served in traditional medieval fashion- No Cutlery! (Don’t worry, we’ll provide wet wipes and napkins at every table.)

Peasant Balcony & Pew Seating – $35 per person For those who prefer a simpler experience, Peasant Balcony & Pew Seating offers general admission seating on a “first come, first served” basis.

Please Note: Guests of the peasant-tier shall not partake in the Royal Court feast but fear not! They will still enjoy a selection of scone and bread treats, courtesy of “COBS Bakery”.

Additional Information: Drink Service: Alcoholic beverages are not included in the ticket price but will be available for purchase through ‘Worth a Shot Mobile Bar, who will be on site and offering a medieval-inspired bar service with a specialty cocktail, along with a non-alcoholic option. Water stations will be available for all guests, regardless of drink purchases. Costumes Encouraged! To fully embrace the spirit of our concert theme, our choristers will be dressed in full medieval costume, and we encourage our guests to do the same! Join in the fun and make the evening even more magical.

The PG Conservatory of Music is turning 40 years old, and we are celebrating with a faculty concert of joyful music! Special guests will include winners from our Scholarship Competition and the PG and District Music Festival’s composition class. Faculty will be premiering a piece by Christine Donkin which was commissioned to celebrate our 40 years as PG’s only non-profit music school.

This extraordinary concert featuring piano, guitar, harp, violin, flute, saxophone, and voice promises to be a vivacious celebration of the diverse music originating from the Spanish-speaking world.
